Who we’re looking for:
The Technical Business will support a Database Consolidation project that will focus on the elimination of outdated integration technologies and the building of modern enterprise-wide integration architecture to unlock data to make it easier to share.
You will work closely with the functional BAs, technical system owners and business subject matter experts to document integration requirements. The Technical BA will also work closely with the integration architect and technical lead to ensure clarity in design specifications and to validate that integration designs align to integration standards and patterns and meet the business requirements.
This is an initial 12-month contract role working with an innovative company across their digital transformation program. The organisation’s head office is based in Newcastle so will either consider people based in the local area or Sydney where they could work remotely with some travel.
What you’ll bring:
You have the ability to document and map data elements down to the field level, and a good level of understanding of data design concepts and common methods of representing data in integration flows such as JSON and XML.
You will also be responsible for working with business stakeholders to identity and unpack their data and integration requirements and documenting these using agile methodologies (including user story writing, clear and structured acceptance criteria and creation of specifications in tools such as Confluence) to flesh out the backlog of work. The BA will work closely with the agile delivery team and product owner to ensure backlog items are understood and the delivered solutions meet users’ expectations. As a key member of the integration development team the technical BA will ensure the requirements align to user stories and acceptance criteria within Jira, provide clarifications to the team as required during development and work with test analysts to ensure traceability through testing.
