The Opportunity
Join a growing team in a brand new and arguably the best office fit out in Newcastle. Delivering IT Services across the 200+ staff organisation, managing IT Services projects and supporting the organisation with the escalation of support issues. The Senior Support Analyst is central to the ongoing maintenance of the Coal LSL technology and their cloud first approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to offer a ‘customer-first’ experience of IT services.
  • Solving problems with limited directions both independently and collaboratively.
  • Providing escalation support to all office-based hardware and audio-visual equipment.
  • Working with vendors to manage the procurement of hardware and services.
  • Ensuring Coal LSL IT services projects are delivered effectively and users are supported throughout.
  • Continuous improvement of the client experience and optimising the operations of Coal LSL through ongoing advice and education.

Experience required:

  • You’re friendly, personable and an excellent communicator.
  • You’re an experienced senior support analyst/engineer, 3-5 years.
  • You have demonstrated experience working in Scrum teams.
  • You have strong vendor, stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • If you have experience working in regulated environments that would be desired.

Coal LSL is the Australian Government corporation established to regulate and manage long service leave entitlements on behalf of employees and employers of the black coal industry. They manage one of the most generous long service leave programs in Australia.
In the past 3 years the organisation has grown from 30 to over 200 employees with a technology team of over 30.
