Your new company
This financial services company with a 40+ person tech team in Newcastle serves to build and maintain key infrastructure for payments processing and more. Boasting a transaction volume of hundreds of millions of dollars per day, you’ll be helping contribute to the security and reliability of the financial system in Australia. They’re backed by one of the largest financial institutions in Australia and have access to their infrastructure and expertise, so you’ll be well-supported.
Your new role
These junior cybersecurity roles provide you with holistic exposure to the organisation’s platforms and infrastructure and has you working with senior systems architects, delivery leads and others across the business. You’ll be helping identify and resolve vulnerabilities, assist with reviews and threat modelling, undergo secure code reviews and everything in between – this is a true generalist role that’ll give you broad exposure to the security process for an Australian enterprise.
The role’s based on-premises in Newcastle, a few minutes out of the CBD, within a well-appointed office with good access to a bunch of food and drink options. There’s good parking and good public transport access too, so you’ll have no problem getting in no matter what your preference is.
