Product Manager – Data & Analytics

Website NewyTechPeople

If you’re a strategic and visionary product management leader,  you need to be empowered to drive success.

Born in Newcastle, Pegasus is an Australian success story, and a leading global player in workforce management and safety, helping  global companies keep millions of workers safe across ANZ, Europe and North America with their industry leading SaaS product.

“We won’t stop until every worker, on every worksite, is safe on the job”

In 2021, Pegasus was acquired by Avetta, creating the largest global provider of supply chain risk and worker management solutions, so there is plenty of scope for career growth and progression.

Your Challenge:

Pegasus are significantly investing in their R&D and products.  We are looking for experienced SaaS Product Managers with knowledge of Data Warehousing, Analytics and data visualisations.

You’ll be deeply involved in the early development phase of this product which will be used by large, blue chip organisations globally.  You’ll use your strategic leadership skills to set the vision, drive commercial growth and raise your profile in this rapidly expanding organisation.

You’ll be the “CEO” of your product – You’re an experienced SaaS Product Manager who truly wants to own the success and vision of your product.  You’ll engage top tier customers from large retail organisations, government & healthcare, mining, consumer brands, utilities, manufacturing, rail and ports.

A visionary and strategic product leader – Reporting into the Chief Product Officer, you’ll be spending time with clients to demonstrate the vision for Pegasus’s analytics capability.   Additionally, you’ll provide strategic and visionary leadership of the product to your internal stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver better customer insights and value.

The voice of the customer – Externally you will work closely with enterprise customers on the intersection of business, technology, and user experience.  Internally you will align stakeholders around the vision, set the goals, define the success, and bring the team together to turn the product vision into a reality.

You love data – You’ll be responsible for the end to end management of the Data & Analytics product roadmap and implementation of features, therefore an understanding of data warehouse concepts, analytics, and visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau to develop an analytics framework and roadmap is a requirement.

About you:

You’re an experienced SaaS Product Manager with knowledge of Data Warehousing, Analytics and data visualisations tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.    You’ve got to really love data and be able to demonstrate a history of strong strategic leadership and driving commercial growth.
You’re equally comfortable with technology and people.  You’ll need to demonstrate that you can be an inspirational leader as well as an engaged client partner.

Finally, the team is growing so you can’t be afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in when necessary.

Benefits
This is an opportunity to be deeply involved in early development of their analytics product which will be used by large blue chip organisations globally.  Pegasus partners with organisations such as Amazon, Lion Nathan Breweries, Lendlease, Aldi, Woolworths, Rio Tinto, Mars, Downer and Valvoline.

You’ll join a global team of innovative and collaborative people, passionate about delivering customer centric solutions and achieving customer success.  We have a flexible work policy, with some who choose to work from home, and an office located in Newcastle for people who want to get together as a team.
